CNN —It’s been more than a week since the looks created by makeup artist Pat McGrath for last week’s Maison Margiela couture show captured collective imaginations, and the internet is still abuzz. The legendary creative — deemed the most influential makeup artist in the world by Vogue magazine — transformed models into living dolls, complete with porcelain skin, pencil-thin eyebrows and strikingly shaded eyes, lips and cheeks. While “glass skin” was all about leaving the face bare but with a glistening sheen, 2020s “dolphin skin” trend took things to the next level. The last decade has seen a range of trends celebrating skin with a high sheen, from so-called "glass skin" to 2022's "glazed donut" look. Pat McGrath LabsLike “glass skin” before it, “dolphin skin” was a sensation on social media, but not everyone was a fan.

Former Fox News and NBC News host Megyn Kelly will be one of the debate moderators. Photo: Charles Sykes/Associated PressThe next Republican presidential primary debate will give the two-year-old cable-news upstart NewsNation a chance to introduce itself to a wider audience. Launched in 2021 as a fully fledged news network, NewsNation has struggled to make a mark in the crowded cable-news landscape, trailing behind the more established brands despite high-profile hires such as former CNN host Chris Cuomo. Adding to its challenges, the overall audience for cable TV keeps shrinking every year amid cord-cutting.

Ron DeSantis is campaigning for president, touting his record in Florida and dragging Walt Disney World through the mud everywhere he goes. Then, DeSantis lobs an incendiary accusation: Disney, by opposing the schools bill, was promoting the "sexualization of children." Part of Disney's hurdle in the courts would be that DeSantis' statements are his own opinion. Similarly, even though DeSantis appears ready keep raising Disney at every campaign stop, a defamation lawsuit would take on another dimension that gets loads of news coverage. Even though Disney would be the plaintiff in a defamation lawsuit, materials uncovered during discovery could put Disney in the position of defending its internal communications or business practices.

The presentation did, however, lay out broad plans aimed at making Tesla the largest car company in the world. The announcements were tepid enough that strategists at Vanda Research wrote in a note to clients that this month could see a sell-off for Tesla stock. That said, Zacks Investment Research forecasts 30% upside for Tesla, and that climb could happen in 2023. While Tesla has long been touted as innovative and futuristic over the last decade, Bespoke Investment Group concluded that the company is now actually a normal, boring car maker. The stock market is getting the jitters with a key bearish signal flashing red again.

Telemundo announcer Andrés Cantor couldn't keep his emotions back during Argentina's intense World Cup final win on Sunday. Argentina are champions of the world," Cantor said, breaking into tears as he shouted his elongated "goal" call in Spanish, which has made him famous around the world. "It was a roller coaster of emotion," Cantor told NBC's "TODAY" show hosts Craig Melvin and Hoda Kotb in an interview Monday morning. Cantor had seen Argentina become World Cup champions in 1978 and in 1986, but its most recent win was 36 1/2 years in the making, he explained. "I told him, 'Son this might be it,'" Cantor told Melvin and Kotb as he began to get emotional.
